Motor Disconnects and Fuses

Motor disconnects and fuses are designed to protect HVAC equipment from energy surges and system overloads. Disconnects feature both Class CC and Class J, time-delay fuses, which work with most 230 volts, three-phase motors. Full load capacity depends on the motor linked to the disconnect, which can range between one to fifty amps.
