Product Overview
The polycarbonate NEMA 4X strap on configuration has a sensor potted to the back side of a copper plate and a foam pad creates compression when the strap worm drives are tightened. The final result is a good thermal transfer with pipes that range from 2 to 5 inches in diameter. Sensor spec: 10K Ohms @ 77 Deg F (25 Deg C) Type II Thermistor. ACI Strap on temperature sensors are designed for HVAC or Building Automation Systems. Specific applications include: chillers, hot water systems, tanks, and boilers.
